You don't have to spend a lot of money to get a good look.  Our customer used a ticking stripe that we carry on this cane-backed chair and it looks awesome!   Our pattern is Railroaded Ticking Stripe / Java and it sells for $4.95 per yard.  We currently have 59 yards in stock.  "Railroaded" means that the stripe runs horizontally (selvedge to selvedge) rather than "up the roll."
